Christina Cipriano, PhD: Pandemic Afforded Educators Opportunity to Learn SEL Along with Students

One of the lessons learned from the pandemic is the importance of social emotional health for everyone. If teachers don’t feel safe, connected, or valued, their students won’t either. Schools can get SEL buy-in from their faculty and staff by supporting and investing in their social and emotional well being through professional development and community support so, in turn, they can model and share those skills with their students and their families.
