SEL is a continuum of skills and strategies that help support individual and community thriving, while emotional intelligence is one facet under the larger SEL umbrella. Her research focuses on the role of social and emotional learning (SEL) in the promotion of pathways to optimal developmental outcomes for traditionally marginalized student and teacher populations.
