Leopard Me
Ethan T.
Arlington, VA
Under a bush, behind a tree, I stalk my prey and that is me. I hide under bushes so prey cannot see me. The leaves and twigs act like brick walls. You can't see through brick walls so it is a good hiding place. I live in a tree. Whenever I catch my prey I bring it up in my tree. My tree has lush and incredibly green leaves. It has many strong, durable, fat, and long branches. I like playing with the leaves. They make a "swish" sound off and on. All of my leaves act like a roof because it blankets me from the blazing sun. Bushes and other trees surround my tree. Beneath my tree is the hard and stick-covered ground. It's very bumpy. I love my tree. It's just perfect.
My favorite meal is the warthog. Whenever I kill it, it smells like death. Death is my favorite scent. I am a deadly hunter. I adore devouring my prey. I am a killing machine, the ruler of the food chain. I think we are kings. Rulers. Empires. Leaders. My feasts are delicious. It tastes fresh and meaty. I just LOVE the taste. It is an explosion of flavor inside my mouth. Delicious!
