NASCAR Drivers Promote Literacy Program

Two young up-and-coming NASCAR drivers recently visited a Cabarrus County kindergarten class as part of "Reading Puts You on the Track to Victory," the Dollar General Literacy Foundation's K-5 reading program. This year, more than 5,000 students from 28 area schools logged more than 2.5 million minutes of reading time, according to organizers. That's almost five years' worth of continuous reading.
