Literature Expert Offers Ideas on How to Inspire Kids with Books
Open a book with a child and you open up the world to them, says children's literature expert Susannah Richards. "Books are the key to so many aspects of cognitive development," Richards says. "They are the beginning of helping a child understand how stories work." The importance of story shouldn't be underestimated, she says.
