Local Connecticut Students Brush Up on Fractions and Reading in New Summer Programs

At 16 elementary schools across one Connecticut school district, 1,489 elementary and middle school students are taking part in the intervention reading and math program. Next month the district will offer a nine-day "Bridge to High School" program for all 1,200 incoming high school freshmen.
