Assignments
  1. Use one of the six research based strategies with your students. Post a brief paragraph to the Assignments section of the First Year Teacher forums describing:
    • the strategy you chose
    • the process you went through to teach the strategy
    • how your students responded
    • your next step in building your studentsí comprehension skills.


  2. Teach your students some metacognition strategies and post a note detailing your experience to the Assignments section of the First Year Teacher forums.
