The chickens he grew up with taught Bob, the rooster, how to cluck, and the cat taught him how to meow. But now he’s been told that he really needs to learn how to crow. As Bob searches for someone to teach him, he learns many other sounds which he uses to great advantage. The illustrations use line and wash to depict Bob as a handsome black & whitespeckled rooster and other farm animals with verve andexpression.
