The Titanic Home
Kobe L.
Seneca Falls, NY
Beluga Whale lived in the ocean. He had friends and they were Gray Whale and Blue Whale. When they played 'Flipper Shell' Blue Whale always won because he was as big as the coral field. They lived in half of the Titanic. Gray Whale lived on the left side of the State Room. Blue Whale lived in the smoke stacks. Beluga Whale lived in the right side of the State Room.
One time they wanted to explore the rest of their Titanic home. Blue Whale couldn't come because he was too big! Gray Whale and Beluga Whale went through the hallways. They broke through doors and found fish and round objects on the ceiling. Then they found a room with a hole in the wall. These four stick legged things popped out! There were bubbles coming out of these things. Then a big net came down and snatched them!
When they woke up there was a white thing and more stick legged things. They were in a mini ocean. Beluga Whale jumped up for a better view. He saw a round room with seats all around it. The stick legged thing clapped. Beluga Whale got a treat from it. He jumped again and then it clapped again. Beluga and Gray Whale were hungry and looking for food. Then somebody threw in some fish.
They started to get used to it. Finally they were able to perform a dance. The round room with the seats were filled with cheering stick legged things. Beluga and Gray whale decided they were happy. They went to sleep and dreamed about the next day of cheering stick legged things.

Ruffy the Bear
Harley R.
Rotonda West, FL
One day, there was a bear named Ruffy and his best friend Jumper the rabbit. Ruffy is a normal sized wild bear, but Ruffy is very lazy. He sleeps some during the day and all at night!!! Jumper invited him to go on a hiking trip. Ruffy didn't like the sound of that. "Jumper is too crazy" he thought. "It'll all go so wrong" he cried to his parents. "Oh, don't be so silly." replied his mother. "Tomorrow is the big day" thought Ruffy as he climbed into his bed. The next morning at 8:00, Jumper phoned Ruffy. "You ready to go hiking?" asked Jumper. "Fine," replied Ruffy. So off they went into the Tennessee's Smoky Mountains. Of course they had their backpack with them and two water bottles. Ruffy and Jumper were collecting rocks and sticks, on their way. After about two hours of hiking, it started to turn dark. "I think we better go," said Jumper. "I'm getting scared." "Don't be a woosy [sic]," said Ruffy. So they kept on walking. Jumper picked up a stick it bit him! Then he realized that it wasn't a stick, it was a rattlesnake! Ruffy looked everywhere for help. He came across a frog, fox, owl, and deer then finally he found a skunk that was a doctor!!! Jumper fell to the ground in pain. Quickly, the skunk started to mend him. He was going so fast, that Ruffy could hardly see him. In a flash, Jumper was better. Jumper and Ruffy ran all the way home, to tell their parents all about it. Their parents didn't believe them. But it was true, 'cause he had the fang marks to prove it!!!
