Reading Tips for Parents (in 11 Languages)

A child's success as a reader begins much earlier than the first day of school. Reading, and a love for reading, begins at home. Our one-page parent tips offer easy ways for parents to help kids become successful readers. Although we've divided these tips by age, many of them can be used with children at various ages and stages — we encourage you to choose the ones that work best for your child.

Thank you for the tips. Great help. I also found a summer learning program at internet4classrooms.com

These handouts are very helpful. Could they please be made available in French? I serve a growing population of French-speaking Africans.

Tamil and Urdu translations would also be very appreciated - I'm from a multi-cultural early years centre.

It would be wonderful if you could provide tips in French, too! Thanks!

...love all of your resources....please add tips for parents to help 4th and 5th grade students with reading skills

I have students from Africa.......can anyone translate into Amharic or other dialects?

Thank you so much for these resources--I needed two of the languages you provided and they will be a great help for our school!

Great resources...
Thanks for the Arabic translation.
love it and shared it with some parents,

Could you also provide the tips in French? They are a wonderful resource for families. Thanks!

It would be helpful for parents of 4th and 5th graders as well! Thank you for the free resource!

Like a few others commented above, it would be great to have these sheets in French, too. My school district has a growing community of Francophone African students, so much so that we now have a French-English dual-language program at one of our schools. I know we are not the only school district with this growing population. Thank you!
