October is Learning Disabilities Month

October was designated LD Month in 1985 through a proclamation by President Ronald Reagan. Each year the celebration is used to educate the public about learning disabilities.

LD Month is a time where people pay particular attention to children and adults with learning disabilities. During this month, our sister site LD OnLine asks everyone to educate themselves about learning disabilities and share what they know.
