Kate's spamming - she's posted that EVERYWHERE where they talk about cursive writing.

I was under the impression that cursive was taught first in most other countries, including in the Montessori system (which, of course, isn't a trademarked term), and that it used to be taught first in the US as well, up until the 30s or 40s.
